How long can I park? You can park up to 30 days in any of the Boston Logan parking facilities. If you wish to park longer, you’ll have to contact the parking lot/garage of your choice and ask if this is possible. Off-site parking lots operated by private businesses allow parking for longer than 30 days, if you reserve a space online.
Where can I park long term? At Logan Airport, you can park long term in the Economy Parking Garage, Central Parking Garage, Terminal B Garage, and Terminal E Parking Lots. There are also several off-site parking lots that provide secure long term parking near Logan Airport.
How early should I arrive? The airport authority advises you to arrive 2 hours before domestic flights. For international flights, you have to arrive at least 3 hours in advance to avoid any delays in security control.
Should I park on-site or off-site? On-site parking is always closer to the terminals, but off-site is always more reasonably-priced and offers more amenities, better customer service, and add-on conveniences.
The Central Parking Garage and Terminal B Garage are connected to the terminals with covered walkways, while the Terminal E Lots are located across the roadway. The Economy Parking Garage is about 2 miles away from the airport, but a shuttle takes passengers to and from the airport. Although Economy Parking is the furthest from the terminals, it offers the most affordable Boston Airport parking rates.
Logan Airport Economy Parking Garage is the most affordable on-site parking option. It's a multi-level parking facility with over 2,700 covered parking spaces. Complimentary shuttles operate 24/7 and depart every 15-20 minutes to quickly transport passengers to and from the terminals. All shuttle buses feature low-floors for easier boarding, luggage racks, and wheelchair lift-equipped. As the Economy Parking Garage is the most economical option, it is likely to be full during busy periods (Mondays - Wednesdays, plus holidays). In case of minor issues, Massport is available to assist with jump starts, lockouts, lost car searches, and air for flat tires. Your vehicle must be lower than 8’2’’ to enter the garage. Central Parking Garage is located in the center of the airport, so it's within easy walking distance to all the terminals. Although the daily rates are rather expensive, you can't beat the convenience. After you park, simply follow the signs to the pedestrian walkways located on Level 4, which lead to each of the terminals (A, B, C, and E). Park close to the pedestrian bridge of your terminal to minimize the time spent walking to your gate. If you drive a hybrid, electric, or alternative fuel vehicle, then you will benefit from advantageous parking spots near the terminals. The Central Parking Garage has 79 reserved spaces for such vehicles on Level 6. Chargepoints are also available on Level 6 in 8 parking stalls. The height clearance of the Central Parking Garage is 12 feet. Massport authorities are there to help in case you need a jump start, help with a lockout, lost car search, or air for flat tires. If you need assistance, parking attendants are available 24 hours a day. Contact the Garage Office by using any call box located in the elevator lobby areas or by calling the phone number provided at the entrance. The height clearance is 12’00".
Terminal B Garage is located directly on top of Terminal B, so it's within a short walking distance of your gate. Due to this close proximity, it is the only parking option that could subject your vehicle to a security search. Terminal B Garage has 18 hybrid, electric, and alternative fuel only parking spaces located on Level 4. There are four EV Charging stalls located on Level 3. Massport is happy to assist in case of any car troubles. They are equipped to handle jump starts, lockouts, lost car searches, and providing air for flat tires. The height restriction is 11’00’’. Temporarily closed due to Covid-19 security measures.
Terminal E Lots are uncovered surface lots located opposite from Terminal E. This is a convenient option for passengers flying into/from Terminal E because they are within a short walking distance. Lot 2 is a recent extension, used after Lot 1 hits full capacity. When Lot 2 is in use, parking attendants will be present to direct customers to open spaces. Lot 1 has two reserved spaces for hybrid, electric, and alternative fuel vehicles. There are no EV charging stations and no height restriction at Terminal E Lots. This is the only on-site facility that does not have height restrictions.
